Director
Jerry Ulrich is a tenured Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Ulrich is only the second professor in the history of the Music Department at Georgia Tech to ever achieve tenure and is the first ensemble director to do so. Dr. Ulrich came to Atlanta from the LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts (the Fame school) in New York City. Dr. Ulrich's prior teaching experience includes university positions at the City University of New York, Southampton College (NY), Hofstra University (NY), and Ashland University (OH), where he also served as Music Department Chair.
During the 1990-1991 academic year, Dr. Ulrich was Fulbright Visiting Professor of Music at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, Scotland. He is an award-winning ASCAP composer with several compositions and arrangements in the catalogs of three publishers.
