Hello everyone here are the minutes from the Tau Beta Pi meeting for
February 7, 2000:


Miscellaneous:
Dr. John Matthews will speak at our March 20 meeting.
Dr. Matthews is an EE professor and was inducted recently by the Citadel.

Projects:
1) Inman Park - Jon (gt8833a) 
When: April 28-30

Possible Activities include:
*house sitting for the homes on the Tour of Homes
*directing traffic and parking
*helping with traffic control before, during, and after the parade (2-3pm
on Sat)
*tent setup
*recycling and trash
*general opportunities

2) Quiz Bowl - Winnie (gt4685b)
When: February 23 5-7:30 PM
Location: Junior's Grill
There are still 9 slots left for teams, so if you know of an organization
that hasn't yet formed a team, let me remind you that prize for the
winning team in each round may be $100 per team (and the money will go to
where the organization thinks that it should).


3) Engineering Futures - Joe Pierce (gte053h) & Tara Poston (gt6900c) March 18 & 25
Initiation: Shannon (shannonwhitt@hotmail.com)
1st initiate meeting is Feb. 15 at 11am & 7pm in C340
If you want to come and meet new members- just show up!

Nominations:
Nominations will close just before the elections on Feb. 28. New officers
will officially take over at the March 20 meeting.

myself (gte158g)! Being an officer is a great way to be actively involved
in Tau Beta Pi!
