Projects:

1) Quiz Bowl Wrap-Up - Winnie (gt4685b)
The quiz bowl was a great success and a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who
helped out! If anyone is interested in helping put up the pictures on
Wednesday that Dr. Matthews took, please contact Winnie.

2) Engineering Futures - Joe Pierce (gte053h) & Tara Poston (gt6900c)
     March 18 & 25- 1 PM
     The two modules that will be available are People Skills 1 & 2.
     Additional information will be provided later.

3) Hunger Walk 2000 - Jon (gt8833a)
    April 2
The Hunger Walk, a project of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, raises
money to aid hunger programs based in Metro Atlanta and beyond. Hunger
Walk 2000 will take place on April 2 at Turner Field so mark your
calendars! Marvelous carnival-like entertainment enlivens the atmosphere
of the Walk.  The FUN volunteer opportunities include set up, run & walk
marshals, entertainment activity volunteers, water stop volunteers, run &
walk refreshment, and break down.

Please contact Jon if you would like to participate in this event and
haven't already signed up.

4) Earth Day 2000 - Jon (gt8833a)
    Friday April 21

Georgia Tech will observe Earth Day on Friday, April 21 from 10 AM until 2
PM at the Campus Campanile. Our theme this year is Earth Day
2000: New Energy for a New Era. Exciting and eventful plans are underway
including prizes, giveaways, speakers, arts & crafts, informational
booths, musical entertainment, guests from the community and lots more.
Please mark your calendars.

The committee is in need of 100 volunteers from the Georgia Tech community
to help with various activities and events such as booth set up, booth
breakdown, voter registration, booth volunteers, T-shirt giveaways and for
several other areas. We are asking for assistance for at
least one hour or more, if possible.

Again, contact Jon if you are interesting in participating in this event
and haven't signed up.

5) There is a possibility of planning a project with Atlanta's Project
Open Hand. Jon is trying to plan this, so stay tuned for more information.


6) District Conference
    March 31-April 2 @ FSU
    Let Stacey know if you are interested in attending. The cost will be
very minimal and if you are considering going, Stacey can fill you in with
the details.

7) Elections of New Officers

Congratulations to the following people who were elected to the following

There is still a need for a VP of computing. If you will still be at GT
next year and would be interested in this position, feel free to nominate
