  • Atlanta/Athens Show List -- Showcases all-ages indie rock and DIY shows in the Atlanta/Athens area
  • Live Music Atlanta -- An archive of experimental/world music/free jazz/nontraditional rock music performances that occurred in the Atlanta area from 1996 to 1998

Music/Art Magazines:

  • Art Papers -- A bimonthly magazine that has been covering contemporary art and culture for the past 22 years.
  • Babysue -- A print/web magazine featuring sections on comics, music, literature, and more.
  • Degenerate Press -- Focusing on the local music scene, they also cover travel, art, finance, prophesies, blasphemy, and so on.
  • Ink 19 -- An Atlanta/Florida music magazine with more of a regional and national focus.
  • SciFiDimensions -- "features original fiction, commentary, interviews, articles and reviews. We cover nearly every aspect of the genre - books, TV, movies, comics, science and the paranormal."
  • Stomp & Stammer -- Probably the best source for music related stuff that Atlanta has to offer, they cover everything from national and international music news to local happenings.
  • Tonic -- devoted to area art events, they cover visual art, music, cluture, and elcectronic media.
  • Working Papers -- "A forum for artists, writers, and thinkers to examine the various "crises" which have come to seem endemic to the modernist era and which now seem to have come to a head with so-called 'post-modernism.'"

  • WABE (90.1) -- NPR, Classical music
  • WUOG (Athens, 90.5) -- Their signal doesn't reach Atlanta but our compatriots up in Athens (GA) deserve mention here. College rock.
  • WCLK (91.9) -- Jazz, Soul
  • WMRE (internet/cable) -- Emory University college radio, broadcasts over the Emory University cable network and over the internet. College rock.
